We provide our mobile apps to demo our platform so that the customers/clients can know whether This platform can be used for their taxi or on-demand businesses.

1) Next Driver App (Android & iOS)

1.1) Location Access

Next Driver(Next Driver) apps access location in both foreground and background to help passengers to find drivers nearby to them. A passenger who is in need of a ride requests a ride from their apps. Driver location access is absolutely necessary for the system to pick the nearby driver for that specific passenger. This helps the drivers to process all ride requests dispatched to them without missing any requests. The collected location data is securely stored in our servers and it will not be shared with any other untrusted third parties. Location access is done in the background so as to ensure that the drivers wont miss any new ride requests when they haven't opened the Next Driver app. We will not sell your personal and sensitive data to any one. Frequent location access in foreground/background helps the administrator/company management to pin point driver at any location. This location data is used for this purpose alone and there is no need to misuse this information in anyway. We do not store the history to locations unless the location coordinates are in a taxi ride.

1.2) Storage Access

Storage access is required when a driver wants to upload the necessary documents for validation and approval from admin. The administrator/Company Management enforces these KYC procedures to verify drivers. This permission is also required when a driver sets a profile picture form their device. We DO NOT read any other file/data from your storage other than the file selected by the driver. These documents are stored as encrypted content in our server so that it is secure from prying eyes. We DO NOT sell this information to any one and we do not use any third party or third party services for the document verification.

1.3) Internet Access

Internet access is required by the Next Driver(Next Driver) app to access Next servers to send or receive instructions for the app functionality. The Next Driver(Next Driver) app cannot function without internet access. All the processing is done on the server side and rendering is done on the mobile app end, without internet the app can't know what to render since the rendering data originates from the server end. We will not transmit any data in plain text. All communication between the server and Next Driver app happens in secure SSL/TLS environment.

1.4) Camera Access

Camera Access is required when taking pictures for profile picture upload or to scan QR code for taking ride requests or to get paid from the company. We do not access camera in the background. The data(profile picture or any other documents) collected from camera is securely stored as encrypted documents in our server and we DO NOT share that data with anyone ever. Once the driver deletes their profile that data will be deleted along with their profile.

2.1) Location Access

Next Customer(Next) app accesses the passengers location to processes ride requests and also to provide Estimated Time of Arrival(ETA) of the nearby drivers. Next Customer(Next) requires location access to function properly. The accessed location data is used for processing and we will not store constant location data in our systems. Only the path taken for the ride is stored to help passengers see their ride history. We dont sell or share your current location data with anyone. Our ride calculation algorithms are our own and this data is kept/processed in our servers only.

2.2) Storage Access

Storage access is required when a passenger/customer wants to upload profile pictures. We DO NOT read any other file/data from your storage other than the file selected by the passenger/customer. These documents are stored as encrypted content in our server so that it is secure from prying eyes. We DO NOT sell this information to any one and we do not use any third party or third party services for the document verification.

The personal information that you are asked to provide, and the reasons why you are asked to provide it, will be made clear to you at the point we ask you to provide your personal information.

If you contact us directly, we may receive additional information about you such as your name, email address, phone number, the contents of the message and/or attachments you may send us, and any other information you may choose to provide.

When you register for an Account, we may ask for your contact information, including items such as name, company name, address, email address, and telephone number.

Data Storage and Handling

The personal information and location information collected is stored securely in our servers. We delete all personal and location information once you delete the account. This provision is available in the mobile apps. Location information is used for App functionality and not to track the users personally. The location information is stored in firebase realtime database and also in our servers for processsing. Other than this we do not store or share it else where. These data is protected by appropriate security mechanisms. Detailed information on why permissions are needed on data collection is mentioned in the mobile apps.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect in various ways, including to:

Log Files

nextdriver.az follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. All hosting companies do this and a part of hosting services' analytics. The information collected by log files include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. The purpose of the information is for analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users' movement on the website, and gathering demographic information.

Like any other website, nextdriver.az uses 'cookies'. These cookies are used to store information including visitors' preferences, and the pages on the website that the visitor accessed or visited.
